RE: Advanced Computing Resources
Due to financial decisions made at the Miller School of Medicine (MSOM), open access on both Pegasus and Bigfoot will no longer be available to MSOM faculty, staff, and students effective October 15, 2017. In order to transition to a fee for service model for MSOM users, all Pegasus users wishing to continue utilizing CCS resources are required to re-register their existing accounts.
To facilitate this, CCS will be resetting all user passwords on October 16th 2017. On that date, you will receive a temporary password via e-mail. Use this to access the CCS Portal https://portal.ccs.miami.edu/account/settings and re-register your account.
MSOM users who are interested in continuing to use CCS compute resources after October 15th 2017 need to re-register their accounts and send an email to email@example.com for a quote.
As an update from our last communication, existing data for current MSOM users will continue to be available for download until November 30, 2017. No new jobs may be submitted after October 31, 2017 without a re-registered account.
