Services & Resources

The Visualization Program currently conducts both theoretical and applied research in the fields of computer vision, image/video analysis and understanding, machine learning, biomedical vision, computational biology. Our goal is to develop novel principles and methods that can provide compact data representation, robustness, accuracy and computational efficiency, in a wide range of applications that lie in the intersection of computer science with life-sciences, biomedical engineering, marine sciences, cognitive systems, robotics and informatics. The team is working towards finding better solutions to existing open problems in the above areas, as well as exploring different scientific fields where our research can provide useful data interpretation, quantification and modeling.
